BK NetWork is a basketball-inspired mentorship, job-readiness, and entrepreneurship program. Through our innovative approach, we empower young people to improve outcomes, reduce violence, and transform youth culture in New York City.
We host periodic tournament events, workshops, and mentoring sessions for underserved youth and young adults. During our events, participants connect with mentors on the sideline to track personal and financial goals, build resumes, explore career paths, and receive information on existing resources. We operate as a network hub, bridging the gap between participants and job training programs, community resources, and pathways to success.

Youth Sports Initiatives
We organize basketball tournaments across NYC to promote peace and foster community among participants aged 8-28. Our events maintain an inclusive, collaborative, and multi-generational space where the game becomes a vehicle for connection and growth.
Mentorship Program
We connect young adults with credible mentors who have walked similar paths. Our dual-track approach addresses immediate needs like resume building and entry-level employment while also exploring long-term career objectives in high-demand industries.
Violence Intervention
Through strategic partnerships with the Brooklyn DA's Office and dozens of community organizations, we implement strategies to interrupt violence and promote community safety. Our Peace Summits bring together diverse voices to address the root causes of conflict.

We have established community primarily in these locations; however, we are continuously seeking new areas for expansion. Our goal is to reach every neighborhood in NYC where youth need safe spaces and mentorship.

Access resume building, interview prep, job training programs, and connections to employment opportunities.
Earn Stipends
Receive $100 per benchmark completed — from registration to job placement. Smaller stipends for participation.
BECOME A MENTOR
Share your experience and guide the next generation. Mentors receive stipends and training. If you have a background in career development, entrepreneurship, or community work, we want to hear from you.
